West Oxfordshire Race Meeting

Pop this weekend in your diary and dust off the road base for your Wanderer dinghy trailer. It should prove to be a busy and fun event with 5 races planned over two days, sharing the sheltered water with the Wayfarers. Our fourth year at this venue.
As ever this is FREE race entry to Wanderer Association Members
There will be separate starts for the two fleets if numbers justify it, with Wanderers following Wayfarer starts by 5 minutes, meaning they don’t have to sail through us and we get to chase them and see which way pays up the first beat or where people can hold spinnakers without having to experiment ourselves…while watching and learning from their racier types.
It would be great to see a good number of boats at this geographically central venue, and the event would provide everyone with a great early season shakedown and a valuable sighter for those working up to the National Championships.

Hot food will be available at breakfast and during the lunch break on both race days and dinner will be available on the Saturday evening at extra cost. Camping on-site available.
