I confirm that I have read the Notice of Race and event information and confirm that I agree to their provisions, and that my boat will conform to the requirements therein throughout the event. I confirm that I will race in compliance with the RYA Racing Charter. I declare that I have third party insurance cover in respect of the boat entered above for a minimum of £3,000,000 and that the term of this insurance will cover the full period of the event.
You will also be asked to agree to the Risk Statement:
Sailing is by its nature an unpredictable sport and therefore inherently involves an element of risk. By taking part in the event, each competitor agrees and acknowledges that:

d) their boat is in good order, equipped to sail in the event and they are fit to participate;
e) the provision of a race management team, patrol boats and other officials and volunteers by the organiser does not relieve them of their own responsibilities;
f) the provision of patrol boat cover is limited to such assistance, particularly in extreme weather conditions, as can be practically provided in the circumstances;
g) it is their responsibility to familiarise themselves with any risks specific to this venue or this event referred to in the Sailing Instructions and to attend any safety briefing held at the venue; and
h) their boat is adequately insured, with cover of at least £3,000,000 against third party claims.
