We are delighted to return to Bewl Water with four races over two days, including participation in Bart’s Bash to raise the profile of sailing generally and support Sailing for the Disabled.

We will be hosted by the enthusiastic members of Bewl Sailing Association at their fabulous sailing venue at Bewl Reservoir, not far from Tunbridge Wells.  Launching and recovery is a doddle.

Three Saturday races, and one on Sunday. Additionally we are invited to take part on the Sunday morning in a (non-Championship) all-comers handicap race to support Bart’s Bash.

This is our third return visit to Bewl since the sad demise of Bewl Valley SC and rising numbers of WCOA entries confirms this venue and the Bewl Sailing Association are excellent fits for WCOA events.

As before, we will be filling our boots at the Saturday evening Wanderer Fleet Dinner in the private dining room at the Brown Trout nearby. (And didn’t we do that magnificently last September ?).

The Notice of Race (NOR) will appear in the Summer 2019 edition of The Wanderer and on the WCOA website.

All race entry fees are paid by the association for WCOA members.

Tent camping and motor homes can be accommodated at the adjacent Cedar Gable site contact Cedar Gables: https://www.cedargables.org.

Bewl has its own camping facilities, but these do get taken quickly. Details at https://www.bewlwater.co.uk
